We welcome kids with open arms!
When it's time to eat, your kids get to pick whatever they're in the mood for. A well-equipped playroom and a wide variety of board games ensure that boredom is never a factor.
In summer, visits to the Mayrhofen and Hippach outdoor pools are all-inclusive for our Kramerwirt guests! The guided hikes offered by the Zillertal Alps Nature Park are designed with families in mind, while we sometimes even pay our own cows a visit as they graze up at the Baumgarten Alm. In winter, children ages 8 and up are encouraged to give snowshoeing a try (we have a limited number of snowshoes available in-house; sturdy shoes are also required).
If requested, we also offer a kids' cinema in the playroom, during which we show some delightful Walt-Disney videos. Painting equipment is set out on the table, while there are plenty of high chairs, cots/cribs, baby backpacks and prams for you to borrow.
Mayrhofen has lots to offer its little visitors: in summer, an all-day children's program at the Family Nest located on the Waldfestplatz, playgrounds at many area attractions and Alpine huts, the beautiful swimming pool with slides, and even a fascinating dairy farm. In winter, well-trained ski instructors guarantee exciting times during kids' ski lessons. For the littlest dudes of all (under age 3), two of the ski schools offer childcare services, where they are welcome to stay by the hour or spend the whole day, with lunch also included.
